I am a CORU-registered Chartered Physiotherapist with over two decades of experience in musculoskeletal physiotherapy, elderly rehabilitation, and group exercise. Today I specialise in women's health and pelvic floor physiotherapy, serving the women of Baurnafea, Castlewarren, and across County Kilkenny and Carlow.
Exercise has always been central to my own lifestyle. So, I understand firsthand the joy of movement and the role physiotherapy plays in restoring confidence, function, and independence.

Musculoskeletal/Manual Therapy
MSK physiotherapy uses a combination of various techniques such as joint manipulation, tripper point release, and soft tissue work. The ultimate goal is to reduce pain, restore movement and speed up recovery. Exercise therapy is also prescribed and used to help maintain optimal physical function and mobility
Women's Health/Pelvic pain physiotherapy
Collectively, the Pelvic floor muscles supports the bladder, bowel and the womb for women. When they're either weak or too tight, they may cause issues such as Low back pain, hip pain, organ prolapse, and/or stress or urge urinary incontinence. Treatment for pregnancy related issues/concerns are also provided.
Dry Needling
Evidence-informed dry needling for myofascial pain, muscle tightness, and trigger points. Used alongside exercise therapy and manual techniques to support pain relief and functional improvement.
Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD)
Gentle, specialised massage to support lymphatic flow, reduce swelling, and promote tissue health. Suitable for post-surgical recovery, lymphoedema management, and general wellbeing.
Deep & Soft Tissue Massage
Therapeutic massage to reduce muscle tension, improve circulation, and relieve pain associated with musculoskeletal conditions. Supports recovery, relaxation, and improved movement.
